The Studio Roso have been called in to help V&A celebrate Christmas this year by creating a Christmas tree, and the Christmas tree is a beaut. The tree is handmade made with 3.3 meters of elastic cord. There are 1500 individual strands of cord making the main part of the tree. It has been placed in the entrance of the museum to grace the visitors as they enter. The tree has also been detailed using the same cords in the shapes of traditional Christmas decorations snowflakes and icicles, the detail makes it that much special I think. If you live in London, I recommend dropping by V&A it is up until the 5th January.
It’s a V&A Christmas!
